High Performance Training

Own The Ice Hockey's Summer Elite 05/06 Program is for competitive players only. The ice times will consist of fundamental skill work, game like scenarios, and a conditioning element. A large emphasis during these sessions will be placed on individual skills such as skating, puck handling and shooting. Often times these skills get overlooked during a season in favor of team concepts which is why summer is a great time for personal development. This group will be extremely competitive and has limited spots available.

The 07/08 Elite Summer Sessions will place a large emphasis on the fundamentals of skating by using correctional skating drills working on technique. Drills to incorporate puck skills while in motion will be used and progressions added each week to challenge the players. Lastly, shooting will be a focus with our instructors demonstrating the proper techniques of both stationary shooting and shooting while skating. This group is for elite players of this age who want a competitive learning environment.
