Learn to Skate Program

Learn to skate program will run throughout the 2026-2027 season on synthetic ice at our primary building.

Training Facility : 412 Fifth St E, Cornwall ON

Off-ice training sessions will take place at the Own The Ice training facility. Own The Ice is 3000 square foot training facility with a variety of strength and conditioning equipment, a synthetic ice surface, skating treadmill and more. Its combination on- and off-ice training modalities make it Cornwall’s most comprehensive hockey training facility.

Equipment- Helmet ,Skates, some form of Gloves, and Knee pads or shin pads, water bottle.

Donna Winter

Donna has been running this program for years and knows the fundamentals of skating. As head instructor, Donna has taking the time to properly teach the players proper ways to learn to skate and develop confidence on the ice.

The players will learn:

Balance control

Proper strides

Stopping/Starting

Turning

Monday Nights 5pm & 5:45pm group times will be determined by registration numbers.
